We are excited to introduce Heather, a Spectrum Enterprise Client Services Manager, as this month's Employee Spotlight! In over a decade with Spectrum Enterprise, Heather has grown her personal expertise, the trust of her clients, and a career with a great future. Here's what she had to tell us about her journey and what she's looking forward to in her career.  

Describe what you do in your current role.
As a Client Services Manager, I am an advocate for my Carrier Cell Tower Back-Hall (CTBH) clients. My goal is to make the ease of doing business with Spectrum Enterprise top-notch so that my clients will return to us time and time again when they need new services. I also provide quarterly performance reviews, which are overviews of service delivery, sales, and service availability. Lastly, I am a dedicated resource to my clients on post-install issues and when a point of escalation is required.

What motivated you to choose Spectrum Enterprise to develop your career? How long have you been with the company?
I have been with Spectrum Enterprise for 11 years, and in my current position for two. I saw that Spectrum Enterprise would allow me to grow and learn as a professional, and would also provide advancement opportunities along the way.

What do you think about your colleagues and the work environment?
I would describe my colleagues as hardworking, professional, encouraging, and team-oriented. The work environment is organic and allows for me to work through my deliverables in a way that makes sense to me.

Do you have a favorite story about how you helped a customer?
Not long ago a client of mine experienced an outage that took down a portion of their network. I immediately hopped on the customer bridge and brought in our Network Operations Center (NOC), to provide real-time updates on our restoration efforts. I provided the escalation and the attention the customer needed to feel at ease during a time that was stressful and overwhelming.

What is the best thing about working at Spectrum Enterprise?
The best thing about working for Spectrum Enterprise is knowing my hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. It leads to more opportunities for growth and advancement.

How do you feel Spectrum Enterprise is making a difference?
Spectrum Enterprise is expanding our footprint to provide services to rural areas where other providers will not. Therefore, we are providing technological advancements in these areas, which would otherwise be under-served.

How do you see your future at Spectrum Enterprise?
I stay at Spectrum Enterprise because of my team, my leaders, and because it is, in a way, home for me. I am currently working on some professional development sessions so that I can continue to further my career with Spectrum Enterprise.
