- Computer Science
- This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It’s a full-time, 10-week commitment from May 28, 2025 through August 1, 2025.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be essential to two teams — your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
Responsible for leveraging analytical expertise to enhance sales processes, drive user adoption of tools, and ensure that our Enterprise sales team has the resources it needs to succeed. Evaluate, implement, and optimize sales tools and applications enabling a frictionless process that yields seller autonomy and increased revenue. Translate business needs into requirements and partner with the business and delivery teams to implement. Collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the seller experience.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and work with IT to determine the application configuration and design.
- Assess current tools and processes, identifying gaps and inefficiencies.
- Develop strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to select and implement new sales technologies that enhance productivity and streamline processes.
- Act as a primary contact and subject matter expert for designated tools, processes, and policies, including advocating for the team’s requirements in enterprise projects.
- Clearly articulate the business value of specified tools and promote their adoption on a consistent basis.
- Analyze sales data to measure the effectiveness of tools and applications, providing insights to drive decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes through technology enhancements and automation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales regarding tools, addressing inquiries, providing technical support and offering best practices for tool utilization.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and external vendors for tool-related issues and support.
Here’s what it takes to get started
Required qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2025 - May 2026
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
- Ability to analyze and interpret data into actionable work activity.
- Ability to create business and functional requirements, use and test cases, and project plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of current sales methodologies and best practices Project Management experience.
- Specifically, the intern will assess tool efficiency, analyze data and make recommendations on data retention. Gather requirements and document processes.
