Are you an RFP Proposal Manager experienced in assisting with writing, editing, and coordinating complex opportunities within the Sales Offer Management (SOM) team with a high degree of autonomy? As an RFP Proposal Manager at Spectrum Enterprise, you can do that.

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION:

As an RFP Proposal Manager, you will be actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. You will be hands on coordinating high level, customizing strategic responses with minimal supervision.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Responds to bids and Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) determined to be within the company’s scope and field of operation within extremely tight deadlines including writing narratives, developing template for proposal per Bid instructions, developing and maintaining database of responses and boiler plates of past performance.
  • Provides team members with support as required, including but not limited to, textual input, addressing, packaging, copying materials, completing forms, following up with team members to assure timely responses.
  • Collaborates and supports the Sales Opportunity Management Team when needed on opportunities with large complexity.
  • Able to identify and support strategic opportunities, work closely with Sales Opportunity Management Team to manage larger, highly complex enterprise deals.
  • Ability to track, report and implement winning strategies.
  • Identify and coordinate with key stakeholders to verify appropriate signatures for all proposals and vendor form requests.
  • Broad understanding of Charter’s organization, processes, and systems.
  • Assign responsibility of specific sections, questions and/or technical specifications to other individuals

What you bring to Spectrum Enterprise 

Required qualifications:

  • Experience: Seven plus years writing experience related to technical Request for Proposal Responses
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Skills: Confidence in decision making and problem solving in a team environment while working under pressure. Manage multiple Bids and provide winning responses in a timely manner. Previous success in developing Bid responses. Highly proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated experience in working effectively with minimum direction. Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Abilities: Experience working in a challenging, fast paced environment with constant time constraints.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using Qvidian Proposal Development software or an equivalent.
  • PMP Certification Preferred.

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $81,800.00 and $131,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
