Flexible benefit options that meet the needs of our employees and their families are part of what makes Spectrum a great place to work. Check out some of the benefits that help our employees work better and live better.

Health Care

Spectrum offers a choice of two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) health care plans. The plans provide the same benefits coverage but at different levels and rates. You choose whether you prefer to pay higher paycheck contributions and less if you receive care, or lower paycheck contributions and more if you receive care. HMOs are available in certain geographic areas. Two dental and two vision options are also available.

Accolade

Spectrum provides you with this confidential service that allows you to simply and easily get the most out of your health care benefits. Accolade provides you and your family with a personal Health Assistant – your single point of contact for any health care question or concern. Your Accolade Health Assistant works hard to get you the right answers, and will even handle the legwork so you can get back to your life.

Retirement Savings

Our retirement program was designed to help you build retirement wealth, while also providing you flexibility and portability. You are eligible to begin participation and to receive matching contributions on the first of the month following one month of service. Spectrum will provide a 100 percent match for every dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your eligible pay. Spectrum also provides an additional contribution of 3% of eligible pay in a Retirement Accumulation Plan to those employed in a position below the Director level who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. If you are eligible, you will receive this contribution regardless of whether you contribute to your 401(k).

Income Protection

Spectrum provides Short-term Disability and Long-term Disability coverage at no cost to you. Spectrum also pays the full cost of Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance of three times your annual base benefit rate (ABBR). You also may buy additional coverage for you and your dependents.

Paid Time Off

Spectrum employees receive vacation time and several paid holidays/personal days. In addition, you begin to accrue sick time on your first day of employment.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

Spectrum offers Health Care and Dependent Day Care FSAs, which allow you to pay for eligible medical (including prescription, dental and vision) and day care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Employee Assistance Program

When you or your family members need confidential help or advice, you can get it through Magellan Health Services. Spectrum provides this resource for counseling, information, referrals and other assistance at no cost to you.

Other Benefits

Spectrum provides employees with discounted cable, Internet, phone and security services where available. Adoption Assistance and a Transportation Reimbursement Account are also available. Spectrum provides wellness rewards when you and your spouse or domestic partner take action toward improving your health. Spectrum also has tools and resources to support parents of children with developmental delays. In addition, you can save on cars, cell phones and plans, insurance, electronics and more through the purchasing power of Spectrum.
