Core and Backbone Operations (CBO) builds and operates technology infrastructure that provides our advanced platforms and applications the necessary reach and connectivity to function at peak capability. CBO teams, utilizing cutting edge technology and deep expertise, plan, prepare, deploy and maintain transport and internet protocol systems for Spectrum's national network footprint. CBO's mission is to deliver Spectrum's high quality internal products and the internet's most popular services with industry leading availability and reliability.

JOB SCOPE

Supports the project management needs of Network Operations. Utilizes understanding of both business process and technical capabilities of industry standard tools used to provide relevant and high-quality improvement insights and deliverables. Possesses knowledge in the business unit they support, as well as the ability to acquire an advanced level understanding of the Network Operations organization's systems and capabilities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide project management support for Network Operations: Generate high quality project communications that provide operational visibility to the business unit.
  • Be a change agent, driving tasks, milestones and deliverables such that projects are delivered successfully.
  • Facilitate communication between business unit and Network Operations from initial requirements to final implementation.
  • Develop high quality graphs, reports, and presentations of data results.
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Work on multiple projects as a project team leader.
  • Perform special projects as needed and other duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Analyze documents and input financial and technical information in provided template.
  • Analyze and forecast budget items.

BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, Business Administration, or related field and / or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum one (1) years of experience using MS Office
  • Minimum one (1) years of experience project management tools, such as SmartSheet, Excel, SharePoint, and/or Confluence

ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
  • Leadership/project management experience.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Proficient at process and procedure writing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze a significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Forecasting experience.
  • Knowledge of cable, voice and data communications networks, and associated elements
  • Able to work independently.
  • Prioritize and organize effectively.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Network Operations experience
  • Develop and implement data collection systems that optimize data accuracy and quality.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $55,600.00 to $88,600.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
