We are excited to recognize Kimberly, a Technical and Safety Trainer on our Field Operations team, as a Spectrum Employee Spotlight. Kimberly works on our team in Greenville, South Carolina, and we recently had the opportunity to talk with her about her career at Spectrum.

What do you do here at Spectrum?
I'm on the Field Operations team, and I teach employees how to accurately and thoroughly perform the technical aspects of their jobs. I've been at Spectrum for over 10 years and I've been in my current position since August of 2017.

How has your career evolved since joining Spectrum?
I started at Spectrum as a Field Technician and transitioned to a Senior Technician role within my first year and a half. From there, I became a Business Technician, which is where I really found my niche. Working alongside my peers, I loved how it felt to help others figure out how to do their jobs more efficiently. I realized after several years in that role that I wanted to help more individuals become successful in their careers, which is when I accepted my current position in training. I work with a really awesome team that shares a mindset and goal of making each individual the best professional they can be.

What motivated you to become a part of the Spectrum team?
I became a part of the Spectrum team because I wanted more than just a job- I wanted a career that would provide stability for my family.

What is it like working at Spectrum?
My work environment is fun, positive, and motivating. My colleagues are helpful, energetic, and caring individuals. We help one another. The best thing about working at Spectrum is the numerous relationships that I have built with really great people while being employed here.

Why have you chosen to further your career at Spectrum?
Spectrum provides awesome benefits for my family. Since I began my career here at Spectrum, my colleagues have become my second family. I look forward to showing up to work daily because it's more than just a culture- it's a way of life. One day, I hope to become the next Executive Leader of Field Operations!
