Inside Multi-Tenant Sales at Spectrum: Relationship-Driven Work with Real Earning Potential

Zuri White found more than just a job on Spectrum's Multi-Tenant Sales Representative (MTSR) team; she found a place where her sales leadership experience could make an impact. Discover why she was drawn to Spectrum and why she plans to stay.

After more than a decade in telecom sales, Zuri joined Spectrum’s Residential Connectivity Sales (RCS) team in 2018 as a supervisor before transferring to the MTSR team in 2021—a transition she calls one of her best career moves. While she enjoyed the pace of RCS and selling Spectrum services to customers in their homes, the MTSR team has allowed her to build deeper professional relationships while developing leadership skills. Zuri now leads an 11-person team of sales reps who focus on providing residential living communities with the seamless connectivity solutions they need at scale.

If you’re looking for a sales career where no two interactions look the same, Multi-Tenant Sales Representatives manage a variety of activities and customer interactions to deliver impactful results every day. Zuri and her team serve residential customers in apartment and multi-dwelling communities; they also partner with leasing agents, property managers and owners to solve problems and build trust by providing the communities they support with reliable connectivity services.

Zuri enjoys problem-solving. By showing people how Spectrum Mobile and internet plans work together, she’s helped new customers save as much as $1,200/year. “When they realize that money is going back into their pocket, they’re in shock,” she says. “For customers on a tight budget, it’s more than a sale. It’s life changing.”

Beyond the work itself, Zuri was drawn to Spectrum by the comprehensive compensation and benefits package. “We get rewarded for our contributions here,” she says. Unlike previous companies where uncapped commissions felt unattainable, Zuri finds the earning potential here motivating. “It’s all about what you’re willing to put in,” she adds. “The sky’s the limit.”

Zuri’s career journey also reflects another important part of working at Spectrum: the idea that success is not defined by limitations. Over the last several years, she has navigated a progressive visual impairment, and it hasn’t slowed her down. She credits her continuing success to her supportive leadership, her “fantastic” team and a solution-focused mindset that keeps her moving forward. That mindset has helped Zuri build a career she feels proud of. “Finding a place where you feel successful and content is the ultimate career goal, and I’ve found that here,” says Zuri.
