Supporting Local Talent: How Student Artists Transformed Our Rochester Workplace

At Spectrum, connection starts with community – and inside our Northeast Regional Headquarters in Rochester, NY, the walls now reflect the local neighborhoods we serve.

In collaboration with Rochester’s School of the Arts, local student artists were invited to interpret what connectivity means to them through original artwork. The result is a workplace shaped by local perspective — and powered by the next generation of creative talent.

Opening our doors to students means that the walls of our building now reflect how we’re supporting the local Rochester community. Scenes of technicians heading into neighborhoods, families connecting across devices and vibrant community landscapes now sit alongside the operational teams who build and maintain the network across the Northeast.

“This building represents the work our teams do every day, and these murals add something meaningful to that environment,” said Jason Crosby, Vice President of Field Operations for Spectrum’s Northeast Region. “Our employees see the direct impact of what they build and maintain. The students captured that connection in a way that feels personal and authentic.”

                                                                       

The murals serve as a daily reminder that our work is about more than infrastructure — it’s about allowing people to connect to what matters most.
