BE PART OF THE CONNECTION:
You create and maintain data support systems for reporting, analytics, applications and data science. You deliver effective solutions by developing, testing and implementing code and scripts while developing data set processes for data modeling, mining and consumption. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Create and maintain systems to support data operations.
Collect and process raw data at scale, including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs and writing SQL queries.
Maintain, improve, clean and manipulate data using ETL processes.
Design, build and automate the machine learning data pipeline.
Work with analysts, data scientists and stakeholders on the data demand side.
WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM ENTERPRISE
Required qualifications:
Experience: Three or more years of experience as a Linux, Unix or CentOS system administrator; Five or more years of experience with RDMNS, SQL, scripting and coding.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Technical skills: Knowledge of coding and scripting using Python, R or shell scripts; Experience with SQL, Tableau and ETL techniques; Expert in data storage; Familiar with Spark, Hadoop, JavaScript, API, Rest API or data extract APIs; History of working with Tableau, Denodo, Teiid or Jboss; Data workflow or data preparation platform experience using Informatica, Pentaho or Talend; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Skills: English communication skills.
Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve end-to-end performance, network, server and platform issues.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience creating proof of concept experiments for analytics, machine learning or visualization tools.
Experience with Starburts, Trino, and Apache Airflow.
