JOB SUMMARY

Our Financial Accounting team utilizes state-of-the-art technology to expertly prepare, analyze, and interpret financial data, producing comprehensive financial reports that capture every aspect of Spectrum's telecommunications business.


As a Business Systems Analyst, you are responsible for the formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, you design and develop new systems by configuring new hardware or software, or use existing systems in new ways to accomplish business objectives.


WHAT OUR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Analyzing complex business partners’ operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and system
  • Assessing available technologies to create development specifications
  • Providing in-depth technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements
  • Consulting with management and users to determine the needs of the system
  • Designing a system to meet the business goals
  • Specifying inputs and formatting outputs to meet users’ needs
  • Overseeing implementation, coordinating tests, and observing initiation of the system to validate performance
  • Looking for opportunities to improve internal processes and implementing measures to control risks within the business applications framework
  • Performing both programming and analysis tasks on business systems
  • Conducting feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency, and technical viability of solutions to business problems
  • Negotiating agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) from initial requirements to final implementation
  • Performing other responsibilities as requested

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM


Required Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Business Systems or IT related experience 2+
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Knowledge of applicable systems
• Prior ERP experience (preferably SAP)
• Prior supply chain experience is a plus
