JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the development and implementation of material management policies, planning, organization, direction, control, and oversight of distribution related activities. Responsible for the oversight and performance related to the movement of equipment, including shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory control and distribution.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Responsible for the end-to-end material movement process from purchase of equipment to installation.
Provide clear tracking, reporting and visibility for the entire equipment life cycle process.
Work directly with the Warehouse and Supply Chain functions to review performance, including the inventory management metrics.
Develop fulfillment plans that assure equipment is sourced and supplied to all locations within required parameters (Inventory and non-inventory purchasing, Reporting and tracking, Distribution and reverse logistics, Inventory management & control, Formalize sparing and excess equipment plan (shipping, inventory levels, storage, RMA process, and replenishment).
Review inventory counts for accuracy through regular cycle count programs.
Implement and enforce policies of high standards for material management.
Develop, train, manage, and motivate responsive staff to ensure effective execution of organizational goals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience
REQUIRED RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE AND NUMBER OF YEARS Inventory control, supply chain, planning & forecasting experience - 6-8 Distribution Center management experience - 5
