Job Summary

This position is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and the operation of non-standard products and digital tools used in communications while aligning with other team partners on product enhancements. The role supports overall product strategy to ensure the programs and application software used for digital communications meet the needs of users and guidelines for operation.

The position takes the lead on training for the products and must possess a willingness to learn several related technologies used in corporate communications, the technical concepts of the related technologies and close partnerships with multiple contributing teams.


How You'll Make an Impact

• Actively and consistently support the customer experience for the company and other internal business partners.

• Serve as a liaison between technical and operational groups impacted by new products or product changes.
• Serve as an SME for the non-standard products used in communications, including content management systems for all types of online content.
• Partner with other key technical and product roles on roadmap, development, and distribution of new features and functionality.

• Produce online training – in person when requested - for the tools used in digital communications.

• Recommend solutions to end-user requirements and engage as a project lead.
• Identify product gaps, conduct research to fill these gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Gather, refine, validate, document and maintain data relate to the products and the users.
• Model business trends based on historical data sets and the planned changes or feature launches
• Provide support in managing vendor companies with product reviews, updates contracts and emerging technologies.

• Generate requirements documentation through facilitated work sessions or individual interviews.
• Establish and assure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
• Support Charter’s web standards and brand, security and technology requirements.
• Assist with budget planning.


What You'll Bring to Spectrum

Experience:
• 5+ years Telecommunications or Product Management experience

• 1-3 years of Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Web Site Management, Systems Design, Communications Technology, Learning & Development or L&D Communications

Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills
• Familiar with telecommunication, corporate communications, learning and development; Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Analytical, organizational, prioritization, presentation and English communication skills
• Ability to define KPIs and metrics

Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP certification
• Product development experience
