The Sr. Financial Analystsupports the financial consolidation and reporting needs of the Spectrum Reach Finance team. Assist the Manager and Sr Director in all aspects of management reporting on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.


Responsibilities include;

  • Develop, prepare, analyze, and maintain library reports for finance team and senior management review.
  • Analyze and maintain headcount reporting across multiple functional areas.
  • Assist with creation/distribution of templates and consolidation of supporting schedules used by finance teams for monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and presentation purposes.
  • Assist with the annual budget and semi-annual forecast process and preparation of presentation packages.
  • Prepare and distribute daily update of financials throughout the monthly close process.
  • Assist with revenue and operating expense variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the departments and work towards the creation of effective, streamlined processes.
  • Extensive ad hoc report creation.
  • Perform other duties as requested including special projections as requested.

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Knowledge of advanced accounting theory and procedures.
Knowledge of operating and capital financial statements.
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
A high level of discretion due to working with confidential data.
Proven track record of effectively and efficiently meeting deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Adept at problem solving and modeling/forecasting operation activity

Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience
4+ years of financial planning & analysis, financial statements, Corporate Accounting, and/or Public Accounting ideally in a Fortune 500 Company

Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Expert Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, macros, and visualizing data.
Experience with advanced excel template and model building.
Experience with consolidating information at a high level and executive level reporting.
High-level of Analytical and problem-solving experience.
Expert Hyperion Essbase report writing and data analytics skills.
Experience preparing complex PowerPoint presentations.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e., Tableau, MicroStrategy, and PowerBI).
Experience with SAP.
