Are you ready to lead Spectrum’s Inside Plant Operations staff and facilities, while driving seamless product delivery and support? As the Director, ISP you will oversee disciplined operational practices, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
As the Director, ISP you will lead and manage the Inside Plant Operations staff and facilities in a Market Area, driving structured and disciplined practices for stable product delivery and alignment with company goals. You'll support internal and external operational teams with project planning and CAPEX/OPEX spending, ensuring seamless cross-functional communication and collaboration for product deployment and support.

Lead a disciplined team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Oversee inside plant operations, including facilities, electronics, powering, cooling, cabling, and FCC compliance.
Provide hands-on support for Technology Operations teams at COLO and Hub locations.
Offer engineering operational support for new/existing technologies and initiatives.
Evaluate and consult with leaders on technical operations, strategic planning, and network operations.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience:
10+ years of engineering experience
8+ years of management experience
5+ years of project management
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of company products and services
Extensive knowledge of HFC
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to supervise and motivate others
Ability to use personal computer and software applications
Extensive knowledge of all FCC compliance reports and other rules and regulations
Demonstrated understanding of applicable local and state rules and regulations
Demonstrated understanding of OSHA rules and regulations, both federal and state
Demonstrated understanding of HVAC and power distribution systems
Knowledge of Analog Transmission Line Theory, Electronic theory, Federal Communications Commission regulations, Fiber Optic theory, National Electric Code and National Electric Safety Code
Working Conditions:
50% office and 50% critical facility environment
Exposure to moderate noise levels
Travel required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of critical facility construction/maintenance
