Are you ready to coordinate and facilitate scheduled network maintenance to minimize risks and exposure to the Spectrum network and its revenue customers as a Change Control Analyst I? In this role, you will work with field technicians, operations, and engineering to assess impacts and gather details for communication across departments. Additionally, you will assist in preparing detailed status reports for maintenance tickets and analyze trending data to drive performance improvement.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist with facilitating the Network Protection Policy to minimize risk and exposure to the network and revenue customers
- Ensure maintenance tickets are accurately submitted with required data to meet compliance and are designed to improve the stability of the network or provide controlled expansion or addition of services and/or network equipment
- Coordinate and facilitate with creation of change request tickets for vendor and carrier maintenance activities to ensure successful execution and completion
- Recommend changes to procedures and operational efficiencies and assist in successful implementation
- Responsible for the observation and alert of non-compliance of the Network Protection Policy to drive successful, proactive, preventive maintenance
- Provide positive guidance of processes and best practices in Change Management
- Attend daily change management maintenance calls with respective stakeholders to ensure successful execution and completion of change activity
- Responsible for communicating and training process changes to the change management users to ensure standardization
- Track and assess metrics based on trending data with reporting relative to scheduled maintenance activities on the network

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience
- 1+ years of Network Operations, Change Management (IT/Network), or related field experience
- Change Management, ITIL Service Management experience
- Skills
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Track and assess metrics
- Complete documentation accurately
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Prioritize, track, and manage multiple tasks
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
