The Senior Specialst, Programmatic Partnerships role will support the management of a portfolio of revenue partnerships for Spectrum Reach’s National Sales organization and lead key business/sales operations initiatives such as reporting, demand quality management, and overall platform integration integrity.

This role’s focus will be multifaceted spanning partner management, go-to-market, and sales operations. Go-to-market efforts include supporting a growing book of business consisting of revenue partnerships across SSPs (e.g. platform-specific marketplaces, SSP-sourced demand), DSPs, retail media networks, and other revenue-driving technology partners (e.g. managed-service principle buying platforms, data vendors, ad exchanges). The second focus area is to lead the internal infrastructure development required for phased scaling of programmatic business, including sales reporting, demand quality management, and rollout of new monetization capabilities.

As a key team member of the team this role will ensure we are set up for success by ensuring partners in the advertising ecosystem have a positive customer experience, and help fuel Spectrum Reach revenue growth through strategic and consistent engagement with internal and external partners to promote Spectrum Reach’s offering and our near-and-long term strategies.


Partner Management

  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans for each partner.
  • Respond to partner requests for information, demand opportunities, and deal/marketplace troubleshooting in a timely and detailed manner.
  • Schedule and manage partner touchpoints (in person/ virtual) to keep abreast of our partners’ product updates, initiatives, as well as answer partner questions and discuss strategic growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate and escalate operational needs for each partner to internal stakeholders and support teams.
  • Provide input on new partners and demand opportunities.

Sales Operations & Demand Generation

  • Achieve and surpass established revenue goals.
  • Socialize Spectrum Reach’s unique value proposition to raise awareness in market – e.g., Pub Spotlights, proactive sharing of sales collateral, etc.
  • Build and update partner scorecard, identifying unique value props across partners.
  • Partner with Direct Sales team on lead generation by leveraging partners and sharing insights from indirect demand channels.

Deal Generation and Management

  • Own programmatic marketplace intake requests and QA’ing (PMPs/DSP deal library deals, curation marketplaces, open exchange, partner-sourced deals) with support from ad operations and yield teams.
  • Lead deal/marketplace activation and ongoing management with partners; clearly communicating deal parameters to partners, establishing process for monitoring deals, and escalating any issues to internal and external partner support teams.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Sales reporting: Serve as lead for programmatic sales reporting (National + Local) across several SSPs data feeds and internal reporting dashboards; work closely with Business Intelligence team to regularly audit and ensure cross-platform data integrity and accuracy.
  • Partner w/ Yield to glean insights into inventory utilization and suggest optimizations to maximize revenue generation.
  • Improvements: Collect feedback from dashboard users and translate needs to BI team for evaluation and execution; manage an ongoing cadence to track progress against reporting improvements.
  • Provide reporting training to sales leaders and cross-functional leaders.
  • Sales Leader Reports: Provide reporting to support growth areas across National, Local and Category sales on a cadenced and ad-hoc basis.

Business Operations

  • Direct Sales: Provide support to client-facing sales teams, including insights across partner deals and acting as a point-of-contact between Direct Sales and Partner teams to mediate discussions around revenue opportunities, programmatic activation, and technical/operational needs.
  • Finance: Provide SSP invoices to Finance team and ensure billing workflows align with internal needs.
  • Sales Marketing: collaborate with internal marketing teams on sales materials to fulfill partner and internal needs (QBR decks, case studies, co-marketing/press opportunities); serve as internal consultant for programmatic.
  • Product: Partner w/Product and Activation teams to evaluate and execute on technical requirements for internal/external platform integrations and supply enablement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of CTV programmatic sales experience in a revenue-impacting capacity.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a portfolio of demand partners, including SSPs, DSPs, and Retail Media Networks.
  • Hands-on-keyboard experience in an SSP (e.g. Freewheel, Magnite, Index Exchange, PubMatic).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and work experience

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $63,000.00 and $66,281.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.


In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $44,000.
