Unlock your earning potential with our uncapped commission structure! Our Top Telesales Representatives earn $100,000 annually or more, depending on performance and sales success. This is an hourly base pay + commission role and agents earn a lucrative hourly base pay of $18.00 or $31.23/hour and up when factoring in target monthly commissions as well. With additional sales incentives available, your income directly reflects your hard work and dedication! You may also qualify for free internet, TV, and phone services and discounted mobile services. Work from home opportunities available after six months in role and exceeding performance expectations (restrictions apply).


JOB SUMMARY
As a Telesales Representative on our SMB team, you will focus on outbound telemarketing B2B sales, promoting Spectrum Business products and services (Internet, Voice, Video & Mobile) to new acquisition prospects and upselling existing customers. This role is dynamic and rewarding, offering the chance to significantly boost your earnings through performance-driven sales results.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively support initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
  • Effectively cold call and sell Charter products and services to new and existing prospects.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas by adding new lines of service (Primary Service Units; PSUs).
  • Meet established activity targets, including outbound calls, follow-ups, quotes sent, and sales conversions.
  • Handle all prospects with courtesy and professionalism; maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a product consultant, promoting and recommending the value of our products.
  • Inform prospects of pricing models and Spectrum Business’ competitive advantages.
  • Balance new lead generation with effective follow-up strategies to increase sales conversion rates.
  • Ensure accurate and complete database information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to communicate orally in a clear, concise and professional manner.
  • Ability to listen and interpret the needs of the prospect.
  • Ability to conduct a needs analysis (consultative approach), overcome objections, develop a strong sales pitch and effectively close sales.
  • Ability to show proper judgement and initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects, pay close attention to detail, respond quickly to changing business needs and prioritize and organize effectively even when volume and workload exceed expectations.
  • Ability to effectively use and multitask with a personal computer; utilize job-specific software applications and other office equipment such as telephone/dialer, headset, copier, fax and calculator.
  • Must effectively work independently as well as with others.
  • Knowledge of commercial internet, video, data, and telephone products and services.
  • Proficient in MS Office and related software applications.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
  • Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
  • 3+ years customer service or 1+ sales/marketing field

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the cable and telecommunications market, including competitors and trends.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address client concerns and provide tailored solutions.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team goals.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new products, services, and sales techniques.
  • Positive Attitude: A proactive and positive approach to challenges and customer interactions.

Preferred Education

A degree in business, marketing, or a related field

Preferred Related Work Experience

  • Experience in B2B Sales or in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or cable industry 1+
  • ICOMS and/or CSG work experience, or experience with similar billing software - 1+
  • Customer Service and/or Telecommunication Sales Experience - 2+

  • Office work environment where employees may need to be seated for long periods of time while using a telephone headset and computer.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels.
