This position is responsible for planning, managing and controlling the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Advises business groups by providing technical and strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Plan, manage and control the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations based on company systems' needs.
Advise business groups by providing technical and strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
Ensure that policies and procedures align with company’s vision.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements.
Evaluate new IT developments and evolve business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
Perform other responsibilities as requested.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Business Systems or IT related experience - 5+
