What you can expect in this role 

The Quality Automation Engineer intern on the Video client team will be working with other automation engineers and implementing test scripts to run on various IP platforms like Roku, Apple TV, Xumo and others as per requirements. They will be expected to implement and run the scripts to validate these one device to confirm working. The role also requires collaboration with test partners to understand the environments, learn and implement code in pipelines in GitLab, Jenkins, etc.

Required qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to understand automation, scripting and programming skills like python, java, java script
  • Conceptual understanding of cloud infrastructure is added bonus
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Oral and written skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Proficient in Software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

The base pay for this position generally is between $28.00 and $29.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
