Our team plays the integral role of making sure the products and services obtained by Spectrum are appropriate and valuable for our business partners.
BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will lead cross-functional teams in selecting the best products and suppliers that offer optimal price, quality, service, and overall terms. You will be responsible for minimizing risk, reducing costs, and improving business conditions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify their needs and draft, negotiate, and manage assigned contracts. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing supplier relationships.
WHAT OUR SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALISTS ENJOY MOST
With minimum guidance from senior members, manage and support complex strategic sourcing activities in procurement consisting of soliciting bids, analyzing supplier responses, and making recommendations on supplier awards.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to formulate analytical efforts and to define business requirements for procurement projects.
Analyzing, auditing, and interpreting large data sets.
Researching and developing adequate sources of supply.
Evaluating the financial stability of potential suppliers.
Performing required business analysis including total cost of ownership.
Providing fact-based recommendations based on competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis.
Continuously seeking out cost savings opportunities and leads efforts to realize those savings.
Managing supplier performance.
Other duties as requested by the supervisor
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
Procurement experience - 2-3 years

The base pay for this position generally is between $75,200.00 and $120,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
