JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for functions relating to the Risk Management insurance process which includes renewal of coverages as well as administration of certificates of insurance issuance, surety bond placement, review of contract insurance language and administration of non-casualty insurance claims. Assists with various risk projects and reporting.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Gather and analyze relevant information from business leaders to present to insurance companies on behalf of the Company
Administrator and oversee intranet Risk and Insurance Panorama Landing Page
Assist in preparation of policy renewal submissions, including review and analysis of exposure data provided by business segments
Assist in reporting and administration of non-casualty claims
Review insurance policies for correct specification forms and endorsements
Review and administer the issuance of certificates of insurance for Charter and its subsidiaries utilizing 3rd party portal system
Coordinate surety bond procurement program and assist Charter business units and other affiliated parties in procurement of necessary surety bonds
Review and administrate contractual language review for insurance requirements that pertain to Charter and its subsidiaries to adhere to insurance coverage requirements and coverages
Responsible for timely and consistent communication and process flow of contract reviews, COI issuance, and Surety Bond requests to business units
Prepare annual insurance forms for processing and execution
Work to improve process flow and efficiencies
Provide guidance to various business units
Perform other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to show independent judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate with all levels of company personnel, including claimants, customers & attorneys
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, database, etc.)
Ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations
Knowledge of corporate insurance program structures including: casualty (general liability, worker's compensation and automobile)
Required Education Bachelor’s degree of equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years Risk Management - 2+
Insurence - 2+
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Professional Designation -CISR-Certified Insurance Service Representative or similar
