JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Marketing Manager – WiFi & Local Access Network (LAN) Products is responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive product awareness and consideration to grow revenue and market share. This role is also responsible for leveraging a deep understanding of the product, marketplace and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Define go-to-market strategies aligned to the buyer’s journey, establishing compelling value propositions that increase awareness, preference, purchase, growth and retention efforts across the WiFi & Local Access Network (LAN) Products portfolio.
Create ideal customer profiles and define target audiences by researching current buyer characteristics, market trends and competitor positioning, through proactive market scans, buyer and seller interviews, collaboration with internal and external research groups, technology vendors, industry organizations and other expert sources.
Create and deliver clear and compelling product positioning, solution narratives and value propositions for product launches and ongoing product initiatives, orchestrating outcomes across go-to-market teams.
Translate technical details into key benefits enabling cross functional teams to effectively market WiFi & Local Access Network (LAN)solutions by aligning products to market and audience fit.
Responsible for creating and enabling the creation of copy, seller reference materials, battle cards, product briefs, product presentations and other materials used to amplify our product messages.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to define work for staff, managing timely delivery of quality work product, coaching toward ongoing development and providing formal performance reviews.
Prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage all phases of a large project, such as product launches, from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy.
Prior experience working with all levels of an organization, different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
5+ experience in product marketing or a related position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
One-on-one selling or sales engineering
Public speaking and presentation (live or via webinar)
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in a related field
Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Previous telecommunications industry experience working with WiFi and LAN technology
