As a Senior Store Operations Managerof Merchandising you will be responsible for the development, execution of resets and measure compliance of visual merchandising strategy across Spectrum stores. This includes the oversight and development of standard operating procedures as it relates to Retail Merchandising and customer experience technology. This individual must be competent in retail fixture systems, rendering of concepts, product placement and collaborate with stores to achieve brand consistency. Utilizing Merchandising tools, this position is required to execute marketing designed planograms and monitoring and oversight of merchandising compliance.

Requires customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, managing budget, relationship building & influencing talent management, result focus and inspirational leadership.

Develops and implements Visual Merchandising execution plan for Spectrum stores. Translate high level strategy and options in a manner that is easily digestible and translatable to collateral guidelines.

Track stores performance, measure compliance of the stores execution and develop improvement action plan with the field leaders.

Partners with internal Accessories and Device teams to collaborate on product placement. Lead Demo Device ordering process and execution strategies.

Leads Visual Merchandising solutions for all store types, including new concepts.

Collaborates with Marketing, Print & Digital Creative teams to align merchandise placement with visual execution across all store formats.

Drives, communicates and executes marketing scheduled merchandising resets to ensure relevance and fresh retail implementations.

Works in partnership with Marketing to ensure merchandising efforts align with store operations to drive sales and customer engagement in store.  

Develops and continually updates training and strategic guides to ensure that Visual Merchandising team applies unified principles across all stores.

Partners with other organizations as needed on financial statistic, policy, process, compliance standards and quality control issues to gain alignment and ensure the impact of any changes/enhancements or issues are understood and communicated, business intelligence, training and development, and marketing and teams.

Manages vendor relationships, partners with procurement on vendor RFP process, monitors and enforces adherence to master service agreements in alignment with store policy and company standards.

Analyzes, understands, and refines processes related to visual merchandising to optimize efficiency/better meet needs of business.

Interdisciplinary work with creative/construction team to source, develop, refine, and repurpose in-store fixtures and visual display including window installations. Brings a strong creative eye to store design and aesthetics.

Performs other duties as requested by leadership.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of OneDoor (or comparable planogram software), Mobile Security Device software and Customer Journey Management systems.
  • Working knowledge of electronic pricing and traffic counting systems.
  • Strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the brand and core customer.
  • Serve as a visionary and oversees the execution of all presentation inclusive of merchandising, floor planning, display and outfitting.
  • Guide product placement and outfitting that is reflective of trend, reinforces brand messaging, and inspires the customer.
  • Partners with Store Brand Leaders to establish systems that protect stock levels and uphold presentation standards.
  • Strong knowledge of effective store structures & floor plans. Sound understanding of retail math is required.
  • Develop the store team to assess, apply inspiration and execute creatively.
  • Facilitate the display process through idea generation and application of inspiration.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to ensure appropriate support and effective scheduling for visual priorities. Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Develops teams to connect brand aesthetic with store Social Media platforms.

   Required Education

  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

    Experience with operational protocols in a retail store environment

    Project management experience - 7+ years 
    Business process management experience - 5+ years 
    Technical and business work experience - 8+ years  

Preferred Education

  Project Management Certification 

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Wireless or telecommunications leadership experience – 3+ years

Field visual merchandising experience to execution across multiple locations– 3+ years

Visual Merchandising experience with leading edge retailers, specifically Influencing the creative process, development and implementation plans: 5+ years
