BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Dir, IT for Mobile Billing Operations you will be responsible for directing implementing corporate Mobile Billing initiatives that support the strategy and goals of the corporation. You will organize and direct operations and IT functions including local area network and wide area network hardware and software, infrastructure development and maintenance, applications programming/analysis and enterprise systems development and administration. You will implement IT standards, policies and/or master plan for the IT function. Guide the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve the organization's internal operations and data delivery. Along with continually evaluate technology strategies implement new technological directions, guide the organization in their deployment and advise operations leadership of enhancements to existing applications and implementation of new systems while providing strategic guidance and technical assistance to IT staff and business partners.

  • Producing and maintaining technical and procedural documentation as required
  • Managing diagnoses and resolutions within Mobile Billing hardware and software for internal and external customers.
  • Developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures that support Billing software and systems.
  • Developing and training Mobile Billing staff in areas such as, network, VMware, data communication links and other infrastructure services.
  • Assist in providing innovative ideas for improvements, for corporate, IT processes and new technologies throughout the company.

In this role you will service as the primary technical point of contract for Mobile Billing service and software clients. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that all Mobile Billing clients are adequately supported in all systems and software that Charter offers. You will also manage Charter’s support staff and assist in making strategic decisions.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: IT work experience: 7+ years; Leadership experience: 5+ years; Project management experience: 3+ years
  • Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Abilities: Learn and support new systems and applications with detailed accuracy; Successfully distill complex technical information into clear, concise yet comprehensive communication material; Skillfully synthesizes large quantities of complex information under pressure; Multi-task, handle and organize changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Recruit, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work; Communicate effectively and concisely to different levels and businesses; Ability to lead an operations team with a strong focus on SQL support
  • Skills: Demonstrated in-depth technical skills with knowledge of a wide variety of tools, technologies, methodologies; Leading others and providing constructive feedback; Work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders; Analytical with problem-solving abilities; decision making
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in technical operations and SRE; Tier 3 Business Application support, Client server computing; Network Security and Architecture experience
  • Hybrid Schedule: Four in-office days weekly
