Are you ready to direct and implement corporate IT initiatives that align with the Spectrum's strategy and goals? As the Director, IT (Software License Compliance), you will organize and manage IT functions, including networks, infrastructure, and enterprise systems, while implementing IT standards and policies. You will guide the development and acquisition of new technologies to enhance internal operations and data delivery, continually evaluate software licensing strategies, and provide strategic guidance on software asset management. Partner with IT leadership, Procurement, and Legal to ensure compliance, manage budgets, track entitlements, and oversee software audits and licensing agreements.

Implement IT plans according to the IT and corporate strategy
Deploy IT staff to support maximum performance
Ensure field compliance with IT standards, policies and procedures
Accountable for the function's budgets and approves related capital expenditures
Assist with the creation and successful management of multi-million-dollar budgets
Assist with negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts with third-party vendors

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
7+ years IT work experience
5+ years leadership experience
3+ years project management experience
Skills:
Proficient in English and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledgeable in managing software asset management solutions and computer/network systems
Experienced in leading teams, providing feedback, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and managing operational/project budgets
Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated knowledge of information technologies and methodologies related to assigned IT segment or area, with the ability to learn and support new systems and applications
Ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
Demonstrated in-depth technical skills with knowledge of a wide variety of tools and technologies and extensive knowledge in a subset of these skills

Closely collaborate with procurement, legal, business unit, finance, and operational staff to understand specific contractual software license obligations and provide advice and guidance to develop solutions consistent with business needs
Advise the business on technical and contractual issues and the associated risks involving compliance in addition to status and whereabouts of company inventory.
Influence the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of major, complex and/or non-standard contracts, including Support and Maintenance Agreements, Services, consulting and nondisclosure agreements to align compliance terms with Spectrum technology and operational processes
Serve as the primary lead for tracking all software license management and compliance, ensuring Spectrum is managing and using the authorized software according to the defined license terms
Drive full, efficient, and effective utilization of the licensing Spectrum has purchased
Work with Product and Technology teams to implement necessary operational changes to track, report, and manage software license metrics and related contract requirements
Establish a process for ongoing tracking of software compliance and support the process for any internal or external software verification request or audit
Manage and lead a team in the efficient, effective operation of software asset management
