Are you ready to provide top-notch IT support for end user technology and software by identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues? As an IT Support Specialist at Spectrum, you will manage support tickets, phone calls, direct messages, and emails, using excellent communication skills and IT best practices. You will prioritize and resolve tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while providing excellent customer service in every interaction. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, POS, telephony, and mobile devices 
  • Investigate and resolve system issues using product knowledge and established methods, maintaining support ticket information within SLA 
  • Resolve hardware and software problems using remote assistance, managing tickets as needed within SLA 
  • Support technology and facility moves, maintaining hardware inventory and software compliance 
  • Collaborate with peers on daily tasks, seeking assistance when needed 
  • Complete project tasks of low to medium complexity with successful, timely outcomes 
  • Partner with End User Computing to refine desktop configurations and implement solutions 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues, expanding business knowledge and technical skills 

Working Conditions

  • Office environment 
  • Operation of a company pool vehicle 
  • Travel required to surrounding and remote area locations as needed 

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum 


Required Qualifications

  • Education
    • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience 
  • Experience
    • Telecommunications or cable industry experience a plus 
  • Skills
    • Other related technical certifications (Microsoft 365, Google IT Support Professional, ITIL, CCNA) 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
