As Senior Director, Senior Counsel, you will provide expert legal guidance, manage high-stakes matters and shape critical decisions across the organization. Your expertise will drive compliance and empower teams to deliver results that uphold Spectrum’s values.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Advise senior leaders and management on legal matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
Draft, negotiate and review complex legal documents and contracts to secure Spectrum’s interests
Manage claims, lawsuits and coordinate outside counsel to represent Spectrum in legal proceedings
Organize and direct legal strategies, collaborating with attorneys, paralegals and business units
Prepare and present analyses and summaries of complex legal issues to leadership
Evaluate and enhance existing policies, procedures and training related to legal and business practices
Hire, train, supervise and develop legal staff, fostering professional growth and capability

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admission to State Bar in which Attorney practices
Experience
7+ years of legal practice experience
7+ years in designated area of legal expertise
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Leadership and mentoring skills
Verbal and written communication skills for all organizational levels
Expertise in corporate law and strategic thinking
Proven ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs, and expectations
Business planning and forecasting abilities
Experience creating legal defensive and proactive strategies

Support for geographically dispersed stakeholders and direct reports
