As Director, AI Enablement eCommerce at Spectrum, you’ll lead the charge in shaping and implementing our AI strategy for eCommerce and digital sales. How You’ll Make an Impact   

  • Lead the execution of Spectrum’s Digital Sales AI strategy by translating vision into actionable programs and measurable results
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases across eCommerce and digital sales channels
  • Build and enable AI solutions that enhance customer experience, content generation, personalization and workflow efficiency
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Analytics, Marketing and Operations teams to drive AI implementation, adoption and integration into business processes
  • Establish and communicate AI roadmaps aligned with business priorities, operational needs and delivery capacity
  • Champion best practices, governance and responsible AI standards to ensure practical and scalable initiatives
  • Drive AI enablement by developing training, playbooks and building organizational capabilities

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Project Management or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience  

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in digital strategy, product management, AI enablement, digital transformation or related fields
  • 3+ years of leadership experience driving cross-functional programs or technology-enabled business initiatives
  • Experience identifying, prioritizing and delivering AI use cases in digital, eCommerce or customer-facing environments
  • Experience leading organizational adoption, training or enablement for new technologies or capabilities
  • Experience in fast-paced, matrixed organizations managing multiple stakeholders
  • 3+ years of AI strategy execution and program leadership
  • 10+ years of cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
  • 10+ years of change management and organizational enablement
  • 10+ years of business process transformation and optimization
  • 10+ years of executive communication and executive-ready storytelling
  • 10+ years of data-driven experimentation and outcome measurement
  • 10+ years of experience translating emerging technology into business value

Skills

  • Strong understanding of modern AI capabilities including generative AI, large language models, multimodal AI, conversational AI, AI agents and workflow automation
  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation patterns for enterprise knowledge and assistive use cases
  • Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, orchestration, task planning and human-in-the-loop execution
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and prompt design for business workflows
  • Understanding of AI Ops practices such as evaluation, monitoring, governance and versioning
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search and knowledge retrieval
  • Experience implementing AI copilots, chat assistants, recommendation engines and personalization solutions
  • Understanding of responsible AI principles including governance, transparency, privacy and human oversight

Preferred Qualifications

Education

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience

  • Enterprise AI platform enablement in customer-facing digital environments
  • AI-driven experimentation, optimization, and outcome measurement
  • Experience working with cloud-based AI services and model APIs 

Skills

  • Experience with LLMs, multimodal AI, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases and semantic search
  • Experience deploying or enabling AI copilots, chat assistants or workflow automation tools
  • Familiarity with LLMOps, AI governance frameworks and enterprise AI operating models
  • Experience integrating AI into digital sales, eCommerce, search, merchandising or self-service journeys
  • Understanding of modern AI trends such as agentic workflows, grounded generation and AI-assisted decisioning

The base pay for this position generally is between $138,800.00 and $268,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
