The Director, Advanced TV Partnerships (Dentsu)  leads the sales strategy and team for an assigned holding company. Reporting to the VP of National Holding Company Partnerships, this leader manages Sales Manager(s) and Senior Sales Manager(s)s to drive revenue across programmatic, addressable, streaming, and multi-platform TV advertising. As a player-coach, the Director owns the holding company's go-to-market strategy while actively coaching direct reports, expanding existing partnerships, and securing new business to exceed revenue goals.


Major Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the lead sales owner and team leader for Denstu.
  • Directly manage Sales Manager(s) and/or Sr. Sales Manager(s), with accountability for their revenue performance, sales execution, and professional development.
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the assigned holding company to accelerate growth across programmatic, addressable, streaming TV, and multi-platform solutions.
  • Coach sellers on account strategy, pipeline development, client engagement, forecasting, and deal execution to improve both individual and team results.
  • Drive new business development and growth of existing partnerships across agencies, advertisers, and client-direct accounts within the assigned holdco.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers across the holding company and assigned client portfolio.
  • Maintain strong executive presence internally and externally, representing Spectrum Reach and the assigned holding company strategy with credibility, confidence, and sound business judgment.
  • Ensure the team maintains strong account mastery, including planning cycles, audiences, spend patterns, brand objectives, media strategies, and line-of-business dynamics.
  • Lead revenue planning, forecasting, and pipeline management for the assigned holdco team.
  • Partner with Sales Support and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of sold campaigns and to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and scale revenue.
  • Introduce, evangelize, and help drive adoption of new products, solutions, and marketplace positioning.
  • Translate leadership direction into clear priorities and actionable plans for the team, while also advocating for the resources and support needed to deliver results.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on revenue performance, pipeline health, marketplace dynamics, and progress against strategic priorities.
  • Communicate clear, actionable upward feedback to leadership on market conditions, competitive activity, product gaps, team needs, and barriers to revenue growth.
  • Influence and push the organization to innovate, evolve, and develop the products, processes, and support needed to win in a changing advanced TV marketplace.
  • Partner across teams to identify opportunities for greater scale, stronger execution, and continuous improvement in how the business serves agencies and advertisers.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture built on accountability, collaboration, energy, and continuous development.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years experience responsible for a national sales quota with proven track record of building agency partnerships and achieving sales budgets.
  • 10+ years of experience in video media, advertising, or advanced TV sales.
  • Proven track record of leadership to achieve revenue goals and grow strategic customer partnerships.
  • Experience working with media buying agencies in programmatic CTV and advanced, data-informed TV sales in a revenue-impacting role.
  • Strong background in sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and seller development.
  • Deep knowledge of data, analytics, and digital ad technology, with the ability to incorporate these into client strategies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of agency sales leadership experience, including managing and developing quota-carrying sellers.

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $185,000.00 and $210,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.


In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $140,000.
